As the new school year approaches in February, many children experience a mix of emotions. The Aussie Back-to-School Emotion Cards are designed specifically for families in Australia and New Zealand. These cards help children articulate their feelings about starting school, making new friends, and transitioning from the summer holidays.
Inside, you'll find 15 beautifully illustrated emotion cards representing feelings like excited, nervous, proud, frustrated, calm, and happy. Each card invites kids to express themselves, creating a supportive environment for discussing emotions. The unique local theme features icons like a kangaroo in a Santa hat, a kiwi bird, and beach BBQs, making the experience relatable and fun for kids.
Additionally, the included Parent Guide offers specific questions for the first day of school, helping open conversations about feelings. The activity sheets are tailored for the February school start, and as a bonus, you'll receive 'My February Feelings Journal' with five customizable templates to further encourage emotional exploration and expression.
