The Arctic Glow Differentiated Reading Set is designed specifically for teachers of grades 3-6 seeking engaging and original reading comprehension activities centered on Christmas, New Year, and winter themes. This set addresses the common challenge of finding unique educational resources that capture students' interests while promoting literacy skills.
In this set, you will find four unique passages—The Lantern Keeper's Secret, New Year's Northern Lights Ritual, The Solstice Lantern Fox, and Arctic New Year Feast—each presented at three different reading levels: easy, medium, and challenge. Alongside these texts are 15 comprehension questions per story, categorized into literal, inferential, and critical thinking questions to enhance reading comprehension across varied skill levels.
To further support classroom learning, the set includes a 10-page worksheet featuring answer keys and rubrics for effective assessment. Additionally, you can enjoy two interactive classroom games: the "Lantern Relay Vocabulary Game" and the "New Year Comprehension Carousel," designed for print-and-play use.
